That's cool to have something so concrete to point to and say, "I put this into action!"
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity (and I understand if you can't or don't want to talk about it), does it give suggestions based on previous searches? Based on searches people have done in your area? Based on your whims? =]
And now that you've finished this, do you have plans to reclaim some of your free time?

Yeah! It is *really* nice to finally have done something concrete and pretty cool ^_^.
ReplyDeleteAll good ideas for suggestions. Hopefully I will get a chance to customize it for individual users at some point, but right now all the scoring is based off aggregate user behavior (and, since I wrote the scoring functions, my whims ^_^).
And yes, I am planning on fully enjoying weeknights and weekends ^_^. I actually have been out and doing things both Friday and Saturday, which I haven't done for quite a while. I'm excited to once again get into this "having a life" thing!
